PPI mechanism of action

PPI inhibits Hydrogen Potassiun ion Atpase enzyme and inhibits production of hydrochloric acid from perital cell of stomach.

Hydrogen potassium atpase is also called proton pump. Because, involve in producing of positive hydrogen ion.
